Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, the 35th Sultan of Perak, was crowned on May 6, 2015. The eldest son of Sultan Azlan Shah, he holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford, and a master's and PhD in Political Economy from Harvard. He served as Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong (2016-2021) and is a strong advocate for integrity, social justice, and development issues.
